(ANSAmed) - ROME, JULY 7 - International banks will meet
again in Rome after their encounter last week, focussing on the
support plan for Greece and the involvement of the private
sector.
According to reports, the encounter has been organised in
collaboration with the Institute of International Finance (IIF),
headed by Vittorio Grilli, the president of the European
Economic and Financial Committee and the Director General of the
Treasury. The meeting, which will be held at the Economic
Ministry, will be attended by banks, insurance companies and
representatives of European institutions.
Yesterday a meeting in Paris that took place between the
representatives of Greece's creditors, held at Bnp Paribas
headquarters, did not result in any progress with regards to the
issue of the participation of the private sector in a new aid
plan for Athens. (ANSAmed).
