(ANSAmed) - OLBIA (SARDINIA), MAY 20 - The North Sardinian Port
Authority will number among the visitors to Piraeus between June
1 and 4 for the 38th Port Meeting, representing nearly one
hundred Mediterranean, Black Sea and Near Atlantic ports. The
three-day event is crammed with events: from the partners'
meeting with its presentation of the financial and progress
reports for 2010 for the cruise liner market and analyses of
problem areas and issues for a sector that would appear to have
weathered the worst of the crisis, to the mainly marketing
interest of the Business to Business meeting. The latter will
see ports entering into negotiations and private deals with such
leading names as the Louis Group, Norwegian Cruise, Pullmantur,
Holland America Line, Royal Caribbean and V Ships. This will be
an opportunity for northern Sardinia to set up new contacts and
to promote its ports of Olbia, Porto Torres and Golfo Aranci.
At the last meeting held in Romania's Costanza in June 2010, the
Port Authority at Olbia joined the Medcruise network.(ANSAmed).
