(ANSAmed) - ROME, OCTOBER 11 - From womb to Facebook in six seconds: this is not the title of a science-fiction film but a new application for mobile phones that allows pregnant women to receive an ultrasound scan of their unborn child in real-time and to put it immediately on the most popular social networks. The application was presented during Gitex, the most important showcase of electronic and technological products in the Middle East in progress in Dubai. It will be available in clinics and hospitals in the United Arab Emirates starting in December. ''It is a modern application,'' said Abdullah Ebrhaim Al Ahmad, regional vice president of telephone company Etisalat, "because nowadays people do everything by mobile phone."(ANSAmed).
